About the Trust

The Scottish Police Memorial Trust is a Scottish Charity, administered by a board of trustees.

The Trust liaises with police forces in Scotland, the principle staff associations, the Scottish Executive, and with Care of Police Survivors to ensure that the Memorial reflects the needs of both the police service and surviving family members.

We continue to maintain the Memorial, and can arrange visits for the relatives of officers whose names are featured, and other interested parties.

Annual Memorial Service

In conjunction with Police Scotland and the Police Scotland College, we hold an Annual Memorial Service on the first Wednesday in September. New names are added to the Memorial prior to the service each year. These names may be of officers who lost their lives in the preceding year, or resulting from our ongoing historical research.
